Hello Everybody! We are finally having some beautiful sunny weather, and I could not be happier! I have just been HIRED to do a cake! I've been making cakes for years, but nobody has ever paid me before (to see past cakes, click
here). I was excited, but now I feel lots of pressure to get it right. In the past, there really was no anxiety because I figured if I messed up that I could run and buy a cake really quickly since I was just doing it to be nice, but now . . . GULP! I'm already crossing my fingers!! It is going to be a little girl's second birthday, and they are doing Sesame Street. Her parents asked for an Abby Cadabby cake with the letter 'G' and the #2. Here is a picture of Abby from Sesame Street!
Isn't she so cute! (DOUBLE GULP) And, here is my sketch of the cake I plan on making:
Abby is holding a gift with a tag that says, "G is for Gia" and the gift itself is covered in the number 2. I'm only hoping that I can pull it off - wish me luck - lot of luck!! The party is next Saturday, so if nothing goes wrong, I'll post pictures then:) (Final GULP)!
Are you kidding me? WOW! I am so super impressed. can't wait to see how it turns out. I CANNOT do cakes! Ican eat cakes, but I can't decorate them. I don't have a steady enough hands or patience. Can't wait to see it.
